# Welcome to the immutable world of Wallet Monsters

The metaverse of Wallet Monsters contains the living escrow-able digital assets called $Enjimon. $Enjimon are cryptographic creatures once believed to originate from the planet Iarci hidden to all except for a tribe in West Africa known as the Dogon. The Dogon revealed the existence of the mysterious planet in the Sirius system, when what we know today as modern $Enjmon first began appearing in wallets around the globe. The Dogon speak of a race of people who visited Earth thousands of years ago who brought with them and left behind the first Ancient $Enjimon. This race of people called the Nommos entrusted the inhabitants of Earth with guardianship of these mighty creatures, and upon leaving, warned a great evil would seek them out. So the Dogon suspended the Ancient $Enjimon into artifacts scattering them throughout the planet. Telling no one of their existence on Earth until first contact by the Maxis was made to a young trainer from Red Bank, NJ, USA.
